Faithfull Combination Auger Drill Bit – FAICA25

This 25mm x 200mm Faithfull Combination Auger Bit provides substantial drilling capacity for heavy-duty professional applications. The generous 25mm diameter makes it ideal for major plumbing work, large cable installations, substantial architectural hardware, and creating access holes for significant fixings and services commonly encountered in construction and major joinery projects. Machined from high quality carbon steel, this bit is engineered to handle the considerable torque requirements and high material removal rates associated with large diameter drilling. The pitched screw point provides positive engagement and controlled self-feeding action, essential for maintaining accuracy when creating holes of this size where precise placement is critical. The wide flat spiral design is fundamental to performance at this diameter, providing the stability necessary to maintain straight tracking through varied timber densities whilst efficiently removing the substantial volume of waste material generated. This prevents overheating and maintains consistent drilling speed throughout the operation. The 200mm length offers practical reach for standard applications whilst providing good control during drilling operations. Suitable for timber, plywood, MDF and blockwood, this auger is designed for use in either hand or power drills at low speeds, though power drills are recommended for optimal performance. The bit can be resharpened using a hand file.
