Bahco 9631 Long Flat Wood Drill Bit – 96316400

The Bahco 9631 6mm Long Flat Bit is the smallest size in this professional range, perfect for precise pilot holes and delicate woodworking applications. With its 400mm overall length, this compact 6mm diameter bit excels at reaching into confined spaces where larger bits cannot access, whilst maintaining the accuracy required for fine joinery work. Constructed from high-carbon steel and fully heat-treated, this bit features a positive cutting angle that drills holes twice as fast and lasts three times longer than conventional alternatives. The hardened blade is forged directly from the round shaft, ensuring exceptional strength even at this narrower diameter. The winged shoulder design cuts the wood perimeter first before removing the centre material, delivering a clean finish and excellent swarf clearance. This 6mm size is ideal for small fixings, electrical cable routing, and preparatory work before stepping up to larger drill sizes.
