Forgefix Multi Purpose Zinc Plated Screws – MPS450ZP

This 4mm x 50mm Forgefix Multi-Purpose Screw is supplied in a pack of 200, offering excellent value for demanding projects. The 50mm length makes this variant particularly suitable for heavier duty fixing applications and thicker timber sections where deeper penetration is required. Featuring a Pozidriv compatible drive and countersunk head, this screw creates a flush finish with substrates for a clean, professional appearance. The zinc plated coating prevents oxidation by forming a protective barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode if damaged, ensuring durability that outlasts unprotected fixings. The Pozidriv screw drive is distinguished by four additional contact points compared to Phillips screws, with no rounded corners. This design eliminates cam-out when used with correct tooling in good condition, allowing great torque to be applied confidently during installation. The 45-degree embossed line on the screw head identifies genuine Pozidriv compatibility. The single thread design is engineered to provide both higher pull-out values and quicker insertion, combining installation speed with secure fixing strength. These screws are suitable for PVCu, timber, chipboard, MDF and similar materials, making them versatile across joinery, electrical, plumbing and DIY applications.
