Irwin 6X Blue Groove Extra Long Wood Drill Bit – 1922004

The Irwin Blue Groove 6X Extra Long Wood Drill Bit in 28mm diameter is engineered for drilling large diameter holes for substantial waste pipes, ventilation systems and major cable installations through structural timber. This 400mm (16 inch) extra long bit provides exceptional reach for drilling through thick walls, ceilings and floors, making it an essential tool for plumbers and builders working on larger-scale installation projects. With 6 times faster drilling penetration than standard flat bits, the 28mm variant delivers outstanding productivity for demanding applications. The advanced Tri-Flute design ensures efficient chip ejection, preventing clogging and maintaining consistent cutting performance throughout the drilling process. The full screw tip provides excellent pull through and accurate positioning, whilst the precision cutting spurs create clean, professional holes with minimal break out on exit. Heat treated for exceptional longevity, this drill bit features a tapered flute that reduces binding, ensuring smooth operation even when drilling through dense hardwoods or at challenging angles in confined spaces.
