Irwin Blue Groove Power Wood Drill Bit – 10507715

The 20mm Irwin Blue Groove Power wood drill bit is ideal for drilling substantial holes for larger diameter pipes, conduits and heavy-duty fixtures. This size represents a popular choice for professional tradesmen requiring reliable performance on demanding installations. Utilising IRWIN's world-first bi-metal technology, this 20mm bit eliminates the frustration experienced when drill bits strike nails during work. The innovative construction combines a high-speed steel cutting edge that provides exceptional durability and allows nail cutting, with a flexible carbon steel body that prevents the bit from locking or breaking when encountering hidden fixings. The self-feeding tip actively draws the bit through timber materials, reducing drill strain and operator fatigue, whilst three precision-ground cutting edges ensure rapid chip removal for consistently fast, clean holes. This 20mm variant is particularly effective for installing waste pipes, larger cable runs and substantial architectural ironmongery.
