Irwin Blue Groove Power Wood Drill Bit – 10507719

The 32mm Irwin Blue Groove Power wood drill bit is the largest in the range, designed for drilling extra-large diameter holes required for major waste pipes, substantial ventilation ducts and heavy-duty architectural installations. This maximum diameter is essential for professional contractors working on large-scale commercial and industrial projects. Utilising IRWIN's revolutionary bi-metal technology, this 32mm bit eliminates the frustration and downtime experienced when standard drill bits strike nails during large-scale drilling operations. The innovative construction combines a high-speed steel cutting edge that provides exceptional durability and allows nail cutting without failure, with a flexible carbon steel body that prevents the bit from locking or breaking even under extreme stress. The self-feeding tip actively draws the bit through timber materials, significantly reducing the strain on both drill and operator during these demanding large-diameter applications, whilst three precision-ground cutting edges ensure rapid chip removal for faster drilling and consistently clean holes. This 32mm variant is particularly effective for installing large bore waste pipes, major ventilation systems and substantial architectural metalwork.
