Irwin HSS Cobalt Drill Bit 1.5mm Pack of 2

The Irwin 1.5mm HSS Cobalt Drill Bit offers precise drilling performance for small diameter holes in stainless steel and other high alloys. This size is particularly useful for fine metalworking, electronics fabrication, and applications where accuracy is paramount. Supplied in a pack of 2, you'll always have a backup bit on hand. The drill bit body is manufactured from premium HSS steel containing 5% Cobalt, which significantly improves the red hardness (heat resistance) and results in extended service life when drilling demanding materials. The 135° split point grinding ensures perfect centring from the first contact, reducing walking and eliminating the need for centre punching in many applications. An industrial quality ground flute ensures high accuracy drilling whilst facilitating fast, efficient chip removal to prevent clogging. The attractive golden tempered surface finish reflects the superior heat treatment process that makes these cobalt drill bits ideal for professional applications requiring reliability and performance.
