Irwin HSS Cobalt Drill Bit 2mm Pack of 2

The Irwin 2mm HSS Cobalt Drill Bit is designed for precision drilling in stainless steel and other challenging high alloy materials. This versatile diameter is ideal for small fixings, pilot holes for larger drilling operations, and general metalworking applications where accuracy matters. Supplied in a convenient pack of 2. Manufactured from high quality HSS steel with 5% Cobalt content, this drill bit delivers exceptional heat resistance and significantly extended life compared to standard HSS bits. The added Cobalt improves the red hardness of the bit, allowing it to maintain its cutting edge even under the heat generated when drilling tough stainless steel. The 135° split point grinding ensures the bit centres perfectly on your mark, reducing drilling pressure and eliminating bit walk. An industrial quality ground flute design ensures high accuracy whilst removing chips efficiently, preventing binding and maintaining optimal cutting performance throughout the drilling operation. The golden tempered surface finish indicates superior heat treatment.
