Melco Box Spanner Metric – TM18

The Melco TM18 Box Spanner offers 18mm x 21mm sizing with an extended 150mm length, providing increased reach for deeply recessed fasteners whilst covering a useful size range. This combination excels in automotive underbody work, plumbing behind radiators, and machinery maintenance where additional tool length is essential. Constructed from bright plated steel, this spanner handles common fastener sizes whilst the 150mm length accesses positions that defeat shorter tools. The extended dimension is particularly valuable when working through gaps in structures or reaching fasteners behind fixed panels. The 18mm and 21mm sizing spans popular automotive and plumbing applications, with the size spread providing genuine versatility. The extended length becomes crucial when standard tools cannot physically reach, such as working through vehicle subframes or accessing pipework behind immovable fixtures. Tommy bar provision maintains effective leverage despite the increased length.
