Melco Box Spanner Metric – TM24

The Melco TM24 Box Spanner provides 24mm x 25mm sizing with an extended 150mm length, offering increased reach for deeply recessed larger fasteners. This combination is particularly valuable for commercial plumbing installations, automotive driveline work, and machinery maintenance where both size and reach are critical requirements. Manufactured from bright plated steel, this spanner handles substantial compression glands, large radiator connections, and heavier automotive components whilst the 150mm length accesses positions behind fixed structures and through restrictive gaps. The extended dimension is essential when standard-length tools cannot physically reach the fastener. The 24mm and 25mm sizing represents commonly-encountered dimensions on commercial heating systems, larger automotive assemblies, and industrial equipment. The sequential sizing provides genuine versatility, with both apertures frequently required on the same installation. Tommy bar provision becomes increasingly important at these larger sizes, enabling operators to generate the substantial torque necessary for proper fastening.
