Wera 7880 Joker XL Spanner Insert for Click Torque X Torque Wrenches

The Wera 7880 Joker XL Spanner Insert is a self-setting insert spanner designed for use with Click-Torque X and XP series torque wrenches fitted with a 14x18 mm mounting. Covering wrench sizes from 19 to 24 mm, it accommodates both metric and imperial dimensions across its full range of application. Unlike conventional fixed spanners, the 7880 Joker XL features continuous, parallel jaws that automatically and continuously adjust to grip hexagonal screw heads and bolts as the tool is applied. This self-setting action effectively replaces several individual spanner sizes in a single insert tool, making it well suited for applications where a range of fastener sizes is encountered. The integrated lever mechanism clamps securely onto the fastener upon engagement, significantly reducing the risk of slippage or rounding. A mechanical ratchet function allows fast, consistent tightening without the need to remove and reposition the tool, while the corner-width rectangular prisms in the jaws enable a return angle of just 30° — useful in confined or awkward spaces. A laser-engraved, abrasion-resistant QR code provides quick access to correct torque values for the specific wrench and insert combination being used.
