Bahco 9631 Long Flat Wood Drill Bit – 96318400

The Bahco 9631 8mm Long Flat Bit combines precision with extended reach, making it ideal for small to medium-sized holes in deep or awkward locations. This 8mm diameter bit with 400mm overall length is particularly useful for electrical installations, light plumbing work, and general carpentry where standard-length bits cannot penetrate far enough. Manufactured from high-carbon steel with full heat treatment throughout, the bit features a positive cutting angle engineered to drill twice as fast and last three times longer than conventional flat bits. The hardened blade is forged directly from the round shaft, providing excellent rigidity to prevent flexing during extended drilling operations. The innovative winged shoulder design cuts the wood circumference before removing the centre section, ensuring a smooth bore and superior swarf clearance. At 8mm, this size is perfect for cable runs, small dowel work, and general fixing applications requiring depth. Features and Benefits: • 8mm diameter for versatile small-hole applications • 400mm length reaches where standard bits cannot • Positive cutting angle doubles drilling speed • Forged blade construction prevents flexing • Winged design for clean finish and efficient waste removal Specifications: Diameter (mm): 8 Overall Length (mm): 400 Pack Qty.: 1
