Bahco 9631 Long Flat Wood Drill Bit – 963128400

The Bahco 9631 28mm Long Flat Bit provides exceptional capability for large-diameter drilling applications requiring extended depth. With its 28mm diameter and 400mm overall length, this bit is perfectly suited for substantial waste pipe installations, larger ventilation systems, major construction work, and any application demanding deep, accurate holes through thick timber sections. Constructed from high-carbon steel and fully heat-treated for maximum durability, this bit features a positive cutting angle that drills twice as fast and lasts three times longer than conventional flat bits. The hardened blade is forged directly from the round shaft, providing the structural integrity necessary to prevent flexing when drilling larger diameter holes to significant depths. The innovative winged shoulders cut the wood perimeter first, then remove the centre material for a smooth finish and superior swarf clearance that maintains cutting efficiency. This 28mm size is ideal for larger waste pipe installations, substantial ventilation requirements, and heavy-duty construction applications where both diameter and depth are critical. Features and Benefits: • 28mm diameter for large-scale plumbing and ventilation work • 400mm length for deep penetration into substantial timber • Positive cutting angle for doubled drilling speed and tripled lifespan • High-carbon steel with full heat treatment for durability • Winged design ensures smooth bore and efficient waste removal Specifications: Diameter (mm): 28 Overall Length (mm): 400 Pack Qty.: 1
