Elta VL200 Inline Duct Fan Single Phase AC - 200mm/8"

The Elta Versaline VL200 is an all metal inline centrifugal fan for 200mm circular ducting, moving up to 875 m³/h in free air and rated in the Elta datasheet to 400 Pa. It is built for low airflow, medium pressure systems and its compact casing suits ceiling void mounting.The galvanised steel casing comes with integral mounting brackets and 25mm spigots for flexible or rigid duct. The single phase motor is IP44 with Class F insulation, sealed for life bearings and a non self resetting thermal cut-out, and arrives with a flying lead and UK 3 pin plug. It has 3 speeds wound into the motor, giving 875, 810 and 742 m³/h in free air. For a light switch or timer run bathroom fan, choose a fan designed for intermittent switching instead.Why choose this over alternativesA backward curved centrifugal impeller holds its airflow against duct resistance far better than an axial in line fan of the same size, and it is non overloading and self cleaning. The all metal casing is a sturdier choice than plastic mixed flow units in plant spaces and ceiling voids.For more air, the Elta VL315 moves up to 1231 m³/h on 315mm ductwork and is rated to 400 Pa.Installation notes Fix the fan with the bracket set supplied. It can be mounted at any angle, but a vertical outlet needs a weatherproof cover on the ducted outlet.
