Yale Locks - P85 Deadlocking Nightlatch 40mm Backset DMG Finish Visi

The Yale P85 is a deadlocking nightlatch designed for front door security. It operates via key from the outside and lever handle from the inside, with automatic deadlocking on door closure. A snib function allows the bolt to be held back when needed. The inside handle can be deadlocked by reverse key turn, preventing internal opening and requiring external key access only. This model has a 40mm backset—the distance from door edge to keyhole centre—making it suitable for narrow doors with restricted space, such as glass-panelled entries. The case is finished in Dark Metal Grey with a Polished Brass cylinder. The lock is supplied with a 1109 cylinder and is covered by a 2-year guarantee.
