Description from the shop

The Yale 84 Standard Nightlatch is a key-operated security lock for doors, operated by key from outside and lever handle from inside. The latch automatically deadlocks when the door closes, and includes a snib function to hold the bolt back when required. It is supplied with a 1109 cylinder in brass. With a 40mm backset (the measurement from the door edge to the keyhole centre), this lock suits restricted spaces such as narrow glass panelled doors. The case finish is dark metallic grey and the cylinder is polished brass. The lock carries a 2 year guarantee and has a standard security rating.
